FLESH
(Eat the word
that became flesh & be joined to him,
not joined to the harlot and eat the idols of the fleshly mind)
By John Darash
John
6:51 I am the living bread which came down from
heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the
bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world. John 6:52 The Jews therefore
strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to
eat? John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except
ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and
drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:55 For my flesh is
meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. John 6:56 He that eateth my
flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. John 6:57
As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth
me, even he shall live by me. John 6:58 This is that bread which came down from
heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this
bread shall live for ever.
Job 7:5 My
flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and
become loathsome.
Eph 5:22 Wives, submit
yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. Eph 5:23
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ
is the head of the church: and he is the saviour
of the body. Eph 5:24 Therefore
as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands
in every thing. Eph 5:25 Husbands,
love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That
he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:27 That he might present it
to himself a glorious church, not having
spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without
blemish. Eph 5:28 So ought men to
love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and
cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: Eph 5:30
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Eph 5:31
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be
joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one
flesh. Eph 5:32
This is a great mystery: but I
speak concerning Christ and the church.
1 Cor 6:15-17
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall
I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot?
God forbid. What? know ye
not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body?
for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the
Lord is one spirit.
Jude 1:6 And the
angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the
judgment of the great day. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like
manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange
flesh, are
set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Jude 1:8 Likewise also these
filthy dreamers defile the flesh,
despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
2 Cor 3:2-3 Ye
are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ
ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the
Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the
heart.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Ezek 36:24-28
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all
countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Then will I
sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A
new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I
will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart
of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk
in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye
shall be my people, and I will be your God.
2 Cor 1:12
For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in
simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly
wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation
in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
Col 2:18
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and
worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly
puffed up by his fleshly mind,
