THE CORPORATE HOUSE 1 Pet 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 1 Pet 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 1 Pet 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 1 Pet 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Pet 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
THE CORPORATE HOUSE Recorded in Mark 2:26, Luke 6:4 & Mat 12:3 where we read … Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; Mat 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
THE SPIRITUAL HOUSE 1 Tim 3:1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 1 Tim 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 1 Tim 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 1 Tim 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 1 Tim 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 1 Tim 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 1 Tim 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. 1 Tim 3:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; 1 Tim 3:9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Tim 3:10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. 1 Tim 3:11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. 1 Tim 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 1 Tim 3:13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus. 1 Tim 3:14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly: 1 Tim 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
THE SPIRITUAL HOUSE Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Heb 10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

THE SPIRITUAL HOUSE 1 Cor 14:3 …he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. 1 Cor 14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
assembling
of ourselves together

2 Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
The house of God is the place
where there is a governmental ruling body where we are also warned in Eph
6:12 For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places. The
place where the veil was rent, where edification (the building up of the body)
takes place, the place where judgment must begin, the court (as
open to every wind of doctrine, by implication a mansion, court, the sheep fold,
the sheep’s hall or palace, the fish gate.) as
we read in Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and
measure it not; for it is given unto the
Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
Therefore it is not the corporate church (the
denominations) where the gates of hell shall not prevail against, but rather the
Son of the living God which God will build his church upon where the body
is edified under the guidance of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of building His
temple “a spiritual house” where the gates of hell shall not
prevail against, as we we read in 1 Pet 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and
hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 1 Pet 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow
thereby: 1 Pet 2:3 If so be ye have
tasted that the Lord is gracious. 1 Pet 2:4
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but
chosen of God, and precious, 1 Pet 2:5 Ye
also, as lively stones, are built up a
spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,
acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
