kill
(Silenced from sharing the Gospel)
With tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril and sword [the Word]

apokteino, from G575 and  kteino (to slay); to kill outright; fig. to destroy:--put to death, kill, slay.

Mat 5:21  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: Mat 5:22  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:

Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Psa 44:13  Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us. Psa 44:14  Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people. Psa 44:15  My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me, Psa 44:16  For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger. Psa 44:17  All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. Psa 44:18  Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way; Psa 44:19  Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death. Psa 44:20  If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god; Psa 44:21  Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. Psa 44:22  Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

John 16:1  These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. John 16:2  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth apokteino you will think that he doeth God service. John 16:3  And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. John 16:4  But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

Rev 13:9  If any man have an ear, let him hear. Rev 13:10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth apokteino with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Rev 13:11  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. Rev 13:12  And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Mat 16:21  From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed apokteino and be raised again the third day.

Mat 21:39  And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew apokteino him.

Mat 23:37  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest apokteino the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Mat 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows. Mat 24:9  Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill apokteino you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

John 7:20  The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill apokteino thee?

2 Cor 3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth apokteino but the spirit giveth life.
